Calaveras Sings Theatre Arts Repertory for Kids
is an all-inclusive, non-profit, children's theater company.
Our goal is to provide workshops and performance opportunities for children ages 5-18 in order to teach a life-long love and respect for the performing arts all in a safe and loving environment.
Our performance season consists of two productions a year. One in the summer and one in the winter with performances one weekend only.
The Winter Program typically begins in October with the performances in mid-February. Rehearsals are once a week on Saturdays leading up to our weekend performance.
All children who audition by singing a simple song of their choice will be cast in the productions although not all roles are speaking roles. Although we do not charge a tuition fee, cost for costumes and script should be expected. We rely heavily on parent/guaridan volunteer support and all will be required to volunteer for at least one shift during the performance week. If you would like more information on our next production and audition information, we encourage you to join our Facebook page or contact us via email.
